Remember when we bought candies for 1 paisa or 50 paisa? We used to get pocket money from our grandparents and immediately rush to the grocery store to buy those family candies. I swear, you will agree that no new-age chocolates, brownies, pastries, and cupcakes can beat the old candies.
1. Imli candy
Tangy Imli candies are one of the most popular Indian homemade candies. The traditional khatta-meetha taste is produced using red chilies, jaggery, tamarind, and a wooden stick for holding. Previously, these sweets were sold for one rupee; presently, they come in sachets of five rupees each. The concept of inexpensive Imli candy has evolved throughout time.

2. The iconic Poppins
The cylindrical form was filled with rainbow-colored candies of various flavors, one of which was Blueberry, which was my personal favorite. Today, the popularity of Poppins has reduced. Nowadays, we rarely see people eating Poppins, and only a few condiment stores sell them.

3. Kismi toffee
The beloved toffee was more of a symbol of love. A blend of caramel and cardamom, a major chocolate that we distributed on birthdays among our classmates, isn’t it?
The fresh strawberry-flavored chocolate is encased with a pinkish wrapper. Oh wait, do you remember a white wrapper with tattoos in it?
One fascinating fact is that, through the Kismi toffee wrapper one can view the sun clearly and be exposed to radiant sun rays. If you are unsure, go ahead and try it.

One fun fact about Melody pronunciations is that in the Kannada language, Me-lody means Hit of the top. This was a fun game during school days when we used to intentionally ask our friends to spell it and make them hit their heads.
Speaking about its flavor, a brownish rectangular-shaped candy with dark chocolate stuffed in it. It was no less than a refreshing instant coffee.

The pulpy raw mango flavor was mouth-watering as you gulp the sourness, but what adds value to Pulse is the spice, the mixture of salt, and red chilli powder. The authentic chatpata flavor it was.
